When it doesn't matter

Everything's going by in a flurry,
the world is turning
but people aren't learning

Where are we going
what do we have to gain
this rushing is not exciting
it's more like one big pain

We try to keep up
even as we huff and puff
but not me anymore

I really feel sorry for the world
so much so that I could cry
